After 3.5 years of withholding children from their parents, CPS is trying to terminate parental rights. Please stand with us in person or on WebEx to show them people are watching.
Last week we put out a call to action. There was an alert by a very observant neighbor that 2 deputies and an unmarked SUV entered the property after he left with a piece of equipment. He was going to be coming right back, so he did not shut the gate. When he returned, he witnessed them all 3 looking in vehicles on the property and snooping around. When the security cameras were reviewed, they were seen looking in all the accessible house windows. They left a card for the one deputy taped to the door. Our attorney contacted the deputy via email. He replied the next morning, stating, "CPS is trying to make contact with your clients to serve paperwork on them. She was requesting we go with her due to safety concerns." This type of invasion of privacy without a warrant is unacceptable to "serve papers", but is the type of things we have dealt with for the last 3.5 years.
The back story can be found here:
There is a court hearing Tuesday, August 22 at 9AM to terminate our parental rights. Our attorney is opposing the petition and has filed a motion to get some visitation and oppose the narrative they have been perpetuating. Anyone who is able to join to show support, please do so. Presence is powerful. The physical address is: Benton/Franklin Juvenile Justice Center, 5606 W Canal Place, Kennewick WA 99336. Instructions on how to attend via WebEx is attached, and also linked below. If you attend via WebEx, please add "Reavis Parent Support" to your screen name.
