We are inching closer to the first day of Idaho's legislative session on Monday, January 11th, and now more than ever, WE MUST UNITE! We are all aware of what is going on nationally but we must begin to focus on what will be happening locally. If we want to make true change, it starts at home.

We have a quick reminder before we get into upcoming events.

Adding Your Zip Code to the People's Rights System

We want to remind everyone that your zip code MUST be added into the People's Rights system. Because we are growing, all over the US, we must be able to divide into smaller and smaller areas. This is the goal of People's Rights! In order to do this we must be able to identify what city people live in, as areas consist of more than one city and even counties. If you have NOT added your zip code to the system please do so, if not, you will no longer be receiving text/email alerts and will not be part of the People's Rights system.

Here is how you enter your zip code:

1. Go to peoplesrights.org

2. Sign in using your username/password. If you do not have one for the system enter your phone number and an access code will be sent to you.

3. Once you are logged in you will immediately be asked to enter your zip code. Again, IF THIS STEP IS NOT DONE YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE TEXT ALERTS, EMAILS, ETC.

4. From here you can create a username and password. Go to "my account" where you can do so along with view your profile.

2021 Legislative Session

We are truly in the fight of our lives! We see how corrupt this system is and we are plagued with frustration and doubt. We hear you! We understand how you feel! So what are we going to do about it? Are we going to just ignore it? Are we just going to put down our fight and give up? NO! WE MUST SHOW UP! This is a fight for our children, for our grandchildren. We are fighters, we are patriots and we don't roll over and give up on anything in life that easy.

WE NEED YOU! We need you on Monday, January 11th. We need your passion, your fight, your patriotism, and your energy. At a time of uncertainty, we need our neighbors to stand next to and continue the war that is raging within this country. We may not affect the entire country but we can make a MASSIVE difference here in our Idahome! Being present on Monday will automatically hold those representatives accountable. This event is peaceful, it's calm, and we are there to simply observe the process while sharing testimony or civilized conversations with reps as we see them.

The first day of the session will begin at 8:00 am at the Capital. Come visit us on the steps of the Capital under the pop up where the People's Rights table will be. We will be offering tours of the capital at 10 am and at 11:30 am. We highly encourage you to come and familiarize yourself with our Capital building. Each tour will meet in the Rotunda. If you have any questions at any point, please come and visit us at the People's Rights table on the capital steps. Bring signs, American flags, and your patriotism. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Medical Team

The medical team has put some fantastic resources together for area 4. A HUGE thank you to this team! These resources will be in the newsroom for you to access at any time. Here is the link to the medical resources.

Currently, the handyman team and the Security team have resources to share with area 4 as well. Once we get those resources established in a newsroom, we will be sure to announce that. Stay tuned!

HAM Radio

We want to remind you of the resources through the People's Rights server for ham. You will see a tower icon. Click on that icon for more information regarding area 4's ham radio net that is conducted each Sunday at 4 pm. Through the icon, you can also RSVP for ham testing OR training January 9th at 10 am in Emmett. If you are interested in taking practice ham tests before officially taking the real thing you can do so here

Food Storage Class

THE FOOD PREP CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR FRIDAY, JANUARY 8TH at 7 PM.

The class will be rescheduled for Friday, January 15th at 7 pm, 1080 S Torino Ave, Meridian. Please RSVP with how many plan to attend at [email protected]

West Ada School District Protest

There will be a protest on January 12th at 5:30 pm at the West Ada School District, 1303 E Central Drive, Meridian. It is absolutely disgusting what the public education system has done to our children and they MUST be called out. Did you know that in West Ada, if a child has a mask exemption that they are to sit FURTHER away from their peers and must have a shield around their desk. This is WRONG and damaging to our children. Let's show up and be a voice for these precious souls.

Area 4 Meetings

Our weekly meetings continue to grow, and I know we say this every time, but we are just excited and encouraged with our neighbors in area 4. Non of this would be possible if it wasn't for you. THANK YOU! We look forward to seeing you all at our next meeting on Wednesday, January 13th at 6:30 pm. We will be meeting at 1077 Boeing Street, Boise, 83705. Please bring a snack to share and your lawn chair. See you there!

Area 4 January Potluck

We took a short break from our potlucks in the month of December but they're back! This is a time to simply enjoy a meal, enjoy meeting your neighbors, making connections, laughing, and enjoying your time. Please bring a lunch dish to share and your lawn chair. Our January Potluck will be on Saturday, January 23rd from 1-5 pm at 1077 Boeing Street, Boise 83705. We look forward to a meal and fellowship together.
